Jeffrey Whittaker has 30 years of multi-faceted experience in emergency and fire services. He is currently serving as a Lieutenant for a large metropolitan fire department in southeast Michigan and as a Command Officer for a regional hazardous materials response team.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Studies from Siena Heights University and is certified and licensed in multiple industry disciplines such as Emergency Medical Services, core, and advanced firefighter curriculums and specializes in instructing hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction response.
Jeff brings with him over a decade of instructional design and delivery experience. You might have seen him working with the Department of Homeland Security, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Michigan State Police, and the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS).
